Sarah Collins, Executive Director
Sarah grew up in Lafayette, LA and moved to Illinois to attend Southern Illinois University. There she met her husband, David and the two of them moved to Star Valley in 2003. They moved away in 2009 and are super excited to be welcomed back to the valley. Sarah loves to meet new people and is honored that God would use her as the Client Services Director at Azar House.
Sarah and David attend Emmanuel Bible Church and have three teenage children. Their family enjoys watching volleyball, baseball, basketball and soccer. With any spare time that is left she loves to crochet, read and participate in Bible studies.
DeAnna Starcer, RN, BSN, Nurse Manager
DeAnna has been a nurse for 25 years, almost all of which has been spent caring for women and children. Her specialty is labor and delivery, and pregnancy is her passion! DeAnna graduated with a Bachelors Degree of Nursing in Colorado and worked there for 20 years. She also lived and worked in Montana, and two years ago moved to the beautiful Star Valley and is now an OB Nurse at Star Valley Medical Center.
She has been married for 28 wonderful years to her husband Jeff. They have three kids. Zach is 22, Lexi is 18, and Triston is 14. They love the area and thank God for leading them here!
Our Amazing Volunteers
Azar House wouldn’t function without its volunteers. Our center is based on the giving hearts of the people who give of what is so valuable: their time. Our volunteers come from all backgrounds, are variable in ages and cultures and are here solely to help you. They have hearts to hear, and hands to help!
