Day 7!!! We are on the downhill stretch. We have been overwhelmed by the goodness of God during this fundraiser and the generosity of our donors. We appreciate you all. We are currently at 60% of our total goal of raising $40,000. Please help us spread the word so we can finish strong!
Today I want to talk about something that has been especially pressing on my heart the past few years. Let’s talk about men. When we think about pregnancy resources we naturally think about women and babies. Even in our society when they talk about abortion they use terms like “women’s reproductive health” and “a women’s right to choose”. But in every single pregnancy situation there is a father. We often marginalize how pregnancy issues affect men.
I have personally witnessed men broken hearted at pregnancy loss. I have seen men grieve over past abortions, sometimes for years and sometimes they had no say in the matter.
I am so excited to announce a new development in our ability to administer to men. We recently had a man step into Azar House to direct a program for men mentoring men. Our first male advocate!! It is an answer to prayer for us.
