In Lieu Of Our Banquet
Did you know that, according to the The Gutmacher Institute and the World Health Organization (WHO), there are approximately 50 MILLION abortions in the world EACH YEAR? That means roughly 95 babies every second of every minute of every day are losing their lives to abortion. By the time you have finished reading this letter, assuming you read it to the very end, almost 11,500 of God’s precious miracles have died due to induced abortions. How does that sit with you?
At Azar House Pregnancy Resource Center, those staggering numbers don’t sit well with us. We believe Every Life Is Precious. And that is why we serve at this ministry. We care about women and men and their children. We believe in the sanctity of human life. And we seek the Lord daily on how we can stand in the gap for these families and their unborn children.
This is the first year Azar House Pregnancy Resource Center decided to change our Fundraising Banquet to June instead of February. Little did we know that a virus would change how we would be able to meet together or how long the changes and sacrifices we have all had to make would last. Our Board waited to see if our gathering would be able to take place until the last possible moment until making the decision to cancel the venue.
That being said, our Center will join with all Pregnancy Centers across our nation in pivoting to an online and peer-to-peer event. Each one who participates will be able to give their friends and family a chance to give and be a part of making a difference in many lives, born and preborn.
Our Annual Fundraising Banquet is our biggest fundraiser each year and is responsible for supplementing our monthly donor base keeping this ministry open serving our community.
You can be a vital part of making this a successful event. By participating, giving, and sharing this event with your friends and family, whether on Facebook, mail, or phone, you can make the goal of $40,000 needed a reality.
